Di Evans and Linda Rein offer courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) to adults.

  • Our students have come from from countries including Korea, Taiwan, China, Brazil, Russia, Germany and Japan.
  • You will learn English in an active and practical way. You will not sit and read notes.

NEW COURSES in 2025
Limited number of students per class.
You can attend these courses on any visa except a 'student visa'. We cannot issue a student visa.
Term 1 starts on Tuesday 11 February 2025  
CLASSES: 
Elementary and Pre Intermediate
3 Days a week - lessons from 9am to 11am
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
$528 for 8 weeks [$66 per week]  
Conversation : Intermediate and Upper Intermediate
2 days a week : Tuesday and Thursday 11am to 1pm $352 for 8 weeks [ $44 per week]
A class may be cancelled if there are not enough students

To enrol for a class

If you are a new student:

  • You can arrange a free attendance at one class during term time so that you can experience the quality of tuition.

  • Please contact a tutor by e-mail or phone to discuss a suitable class.

Please note that acceptance in a class depends on a place being available.

Some of the questions which we have been asked previously.

Questions Responses
Can you teach my children English? We only run courses for adults during school hours.
When can I arrange a free attendance at one class? At any time when term classes are in progress. We do not arrange a separate class for this purpose.
Can I enrol for a course without paying? You can enrol by phone or email and pay at the first lesson.
Can I enrol for only part of the 8 week term? Students who attend for the full 8 weeks will get preference. If the class is not full, late enrolment can be considered.
